Summary: How do you tell people you can see ghosts? For Neal he has never known anything different, but when he winds up on a work release deal with Agent Peter Burke his gift becomes more important to him than ever before. But he's spent his life being misunderstood, and his childhood in a mental institution because of it. Can he trust Peter to believe him or should he do what he's best at - being someone else?
"Oh, I'm sorry." Neal almost offered a hand to shake but then corrected himself. "I'm Neal. Neal Caffrey. If you don't mind me asking, how did you know I could see you?"
"Name's Byron. And well, I didn't, but I'm the type of guy that believes anything is possible. I figured if I introduced myself to enough people, eventually one of them would turn around," he chuckled, and it was low and hearty, the kind that warmed you through like a roaring fire on a winter's night. "And if you don't mind me saying, it takes a con to know a con."
Title: Takes All Kinds
Summary: Baby Loki is left on Earth where he is found and adopted by someone better at raising little Joten than Odin.
"Heather?" Her husband questioned as he arrived, bare chested with sword in hand. "What is..."
They stared. The goat had nibbled on the blanket, moving the wrappings just enough to reveal fat baby cheeks and blearily, innocent eyes. But the cheeks were blue, and the eyes were red. Not human. Heather felt Connor's hand come up to rest reassuringly on her shoulder, and his touch banished any misgivings that might have wanted to grow. The world was a strange and wondrous, if at times frighting, place, she knew. There were those who would have called Connor evil, those who only saw what he was and not who he was, and thinking of that she knelt down. The grass crunched beneath her as she placed a hand on the blanket.
"A baby, Connor. A child." The material that the blankets were made from was softer than anything else she'd ever known. "Who do yea think he belongs to?"
Connor was gazing sharp-eyed across the lake and hills, as if expecting something or someone to come riding out demanding... something. Heather was not sure she would want to give it.
The babe sniffled, blinked, and let out a cry that tugged at Heather's heart. She scooped the little one up and cradled him to her chest, shushing it, running a finger along his too-cool cheek... and gasped in wonder as the blue receded. Connor stood, a warm line at her back, peering curiously over her shoulder as they watched cold skin become warm, and ruby eyes emerald. They were green gems like the hills in spring, with the slightest flecks of blue, and they reminded Heather of her mother's.

Summary: On the night Voldemort attacks the Potter's home, a completely different person finds Harry before Sirius Black or Hagrid. Harry is found and adopted by Nermia's very own eternal lost boy Ryoga Hibiki! Soon Harry will be joining his classmates at Hogwarts but how will Hogwarts handle this kind of Harry? And how does it affect the prophecy, what is the 'power he knows not?
"This direction curse, if it is one, is unlike anything I have ever seen sire" Ripblade said with a shake of his head. "I had the boy lead me around the bank so I could see if it is as bad as he claims." Ripblade shook his head again, pressing his fingers to his forehead. "It is much, much worse. We entered a doorway that *should have* lead us toward the upper vaults we use for new clients and somehow ended up at the other end of Diagon Alley"
Ragnok's eyes widen, he had never heard of a spell or curse like this. "Teleportation then?"
"It must be, but he seems to have no knowledge when he is doing so. All the boy seems to know is that he is one place one moment and another the next. He cannot seem to even follow the simplest direction without getting lost. I instructed him to go left and instead he goes right. He seems to have some sort of sixth sense, he can detect when he is about to be attack, we saw that with his fight with Captain Snapfang and the guards. He can also sense when someone is watching him but cannot seem to point in the direction it is coming from." Ripblade shook his head once again, he was getting a headache just thinking of it. "The strange thing is, every time I scanned him, I could not find anything that could be a source of this disability. He simply has no sense of direction."

Batman is very happy with the way that Robin has picked up his training, his methods and his habits. Generally. But his protege showing up at the Batcave with two small children, Tim and Jason, clinging to him proves he's adopted one trait Batman would have rather he hadn't. It seems the batfamily has an incurable penchant for picking up strays, and Tim and Jason are only the beginning.

Summary:Post-Thor, canon-divergence. Loki doesn't survive his fall from the Bifrost and winds up reincarnated on Midgard as a mortal magician named Lucy with no memory of her previous life. Her decision-making skills have not been much improved by the transformation.
“Do I even want to know why you think I’m your missing brother?”
“The similarities are startling,” Thor managed. She looked pointedly down at her chest, then back at him, her lips pursing. He knew the look in her eyes, the set of her mouth, the tension in her jaw. Oh, how he knew that sharp, angry, hard face. He could practically hear Loki hissing “You idiot” in his ear.
“You deny it, then?” Hogun asked.
“Seriously?” Lucy’s left eye twitched slightly. “I have at no point in the last thirty years seen or experienced anything that would lead me to think I’m a dude, an alien, a god, or any combination thereof. So yeah, I’m going to have to go with denying it.”
“I cannot find anyone who meets all of my requirements. There seems to be no woman who is a beautiful, rich, tall, intelligent, brave, alluring, loyal, fashionable, wise, romantic, confident, adventurous, powerful, mischievous, educated, speaks all languages, athletic, superhuman, immortal, strong, turns fiction into reality, non-smoker, a powerful magic user, a good ruler, not allergic to kryptonite, diplomatic, can reach the moon, be a good mother and can fly.”
“Are you proposing to me?” Loki asked suspiciously.
Doom continued, ignoring whatever Loki was muttering. “I would also have to be able to seduce her into following me. But if she’d gullible enough to fall for that then she would be unsuitable to become queen of Latveria. How shall I find this perfect woman and how shall I get her to agree to my proposal. We must think Loki.”

"Oi, stop that," the burly man told him. "Can't have everyone knowing, can we? You don't want to ruin his plans for world domination, do you?"
Mr Davis froze in consternation.
"I will pretend I know nothing. I would hate to ruin his glorious plans of conquest and unholy rule!"
"See you do," said the burly man. He turned to Harry. "I'll just be going, then," he said respectfully, and with a nod, began walking away.
Harry looked down at Mr Davis, still lying on the pavement and making no effort to get up.
"Are you okay, Mr Davis?" he asked in concern.
"I am fine, oh Child of – erm – I mean – uh –" He floundered to a stop.
"My name's Harry," Harry said kindly.

Shaking himself briefly, the purple and grey mech smoothed his features back into place. “So… what, did that put you off the whole thing? I have trouble believing that one dead mech would make you shun the experience.”
“Oh, it wasn’t just one.”
“…What?” Astrotrain’s tone went flat – quite the accomplishment, considering the harmonious quality of his voice.
“If I’m not forgetting anyone, I think that it has been… fourteen deaths, and two non-fatal maimings.” He paused. “Wait, it’s three now, as of two days ago.”

Summary: Jack Sparrow is much more than he appears to be.
It was only then that Oberon really seemed to take notice of their surroundings. He looked around at the expanse of ocean they drifted in, then took a more pointed look at the tiny boat Jack had been sailing in. "Puck... what are you doing here?"
She grinned broadly and straightened. "Why, tricking, my Lord," she replied. Green eyes the shade of deep forest at high noon danced with wicked delight."
"And just who are you tricking?"
That prompted a laugh from her. "Your son and I have a little wager going to pass the time, if you recall, my Lord." She gestured broadly at the sea around them. "I plan on winning in high style, of course."

Fandom: White Collar
Summary: AU in which Peter is a dragonslayer, Neal is a dragon, and Elizabeth is the enchantress who makes a chain to bind him.
But there was another dragon out there, a much bigger and more dangerous dragon, and, Peter realized, the dragon lying at his feet would almost certainly know about it. That, too, he had learned from watching predators: a wolf always knew when another wolf was in its territory. This dragon could probably tell him where the other one had come from, and maybe even how to kill it.
No one talked with dragons much, if they could help it, but dragons did talk; the books were all very clear about that. And if it can talk, Peter thought, then I can interrogate it.
The trick would be interrogating it without having it incinerate him where he stood. There were very good reasons why most people, sane people, did not have conversations with dragons.

"STARSCREAM!" Galvatron's optics brightened and his mouth opened in horror-after a shocked instant, he recovered himself. "I'll enjoy destroying you even more the second time!"
Octane took a chance on Galvatron's distraction and bolted for the side entrance. Behind him he heard Starscream's angry rejoinder and the howl of Galvatron's fusion cannon.
"Hope you make it, Screamer-ah, what am I saying? You're already dead. He can't hurt you, but he sure the hell can do a number on me! Should have got a fast shuttle out of here as soon as we arrived," Octane muttered to himself as he ran outside and through the base for the shuttle hangar.
