Dec. 1st, 2011 01:17 pmSmacks head against wall. I can't believe I forgot to sign up for yuletide. Seriously, it totally slipped my mind until I saw a couple challenge fills posted on Ao3. Sighs, ah well. It is too late now and it is not as though I don't have other things to do.
On the bright side, had cornbread tonight for the first time in almost two years. Though having to grind kernals into corn meal brings a whole new meaning to the term from scratch. They don't sell the main ingredient in Morocco. There is a recipe that calls for semolina instead in my cookbook but I tried it once and it's awful. I also made chili, even if it is a little spicier than I usually like, so all in all a good evening.
