Peppymint's thoery of sparkling creation

peppymint1986Because I am bored and I may need it for a story one day.
1) To create a sparkling two cybertronians must both a) merge sparks and b) transfluid must be transferred to the carrier
-it is possible for a shallow/partial merge to create a new spark, just not likely. This means the two do not have to be bonded though a bonded couple does have a much better chance of producing offspring.
2) In the first stage of sparkling creation the new spark stays in the carriers' spark chamber, growing slightly in size and more importantly gaining stability. This stage has the highest chance of a miscarriage i.e. spontaneous spark combustion.
3) When new spark is stable it moves into a very simple protoform (round blob) and is integrated into systems. Depending on inherited coding it starts to grow limbs and gain a shape. Carrier should take mineral supplements or the material may be taken from them.
4) Sparkling does not have true armor but back plating are somewhat stiff. They curl into a ball like a hedgehog when being born. Chest of carrier opens, no between the legs stuff. Also curl after they are born if they feel threatened.
